Apparently my youngest rode the Fireball when I wasn’t with her… I’m a little bit in shock!

DH recently took a kayaking class and has decided that we need to spend more time on the river… so we went on a little rafting trip today. The rapids were not too crazy which made it more relaxing, and our guide was great. He managed our two very chatty girls quite nicely and we had a fine time!

So every year we give thanks to Uncle Adam on the Fourth because he gave DH these fireworks many years ago and we love them! Now we have used them all and we can only hope that maybe someday Uncle Adam will go back to Wyoming and get us some more…

Woohoo! We had to try… okay, my family tried it while I was the video-mom. They said it was lots of fun.

Of course with time on my hands what do I do? Watch the best of youtube… I found this and I thought it was very sweet.

The kids were pretty darn cute… who knew that running could generate so much excitement!

A morning of crazy Rockband playing lead to a broken drumstick! Who knew we’d get so outa control…

It was a two day trek to get home… and when we arrived our power was out… but finally we seem to be settled in.

Tomorrow we head home… sigh… it has been a very nice way to spend my birthday week!

We got up early today and went to check out some whale watching. We saw them splashing about from our hotel with binoculars. Too bad we saw them splashing about from the boat just about as close up as we did from our hotel, not much activity too close except for when I was looking the other way! Oh well…
