The birthday celebration for DH continues with a weekend getaway! Woohoo!

And we are off! It is going to be kinda hard to get back into the swing of things after a few oh so relaxing and indulgent days (if you only saw all the other food we ate!)

A whole store of cool watches! Woohoo! How could I reist?! It has been a great weekend!! Alas, tomorrow we head back. Luckily I have lots of beads that I made earlier this week to list on Tuesday. Hope you are enjoying your weekend!!

Here I am doing my nails on the drive up! Even in the rain a gal’s gotta have nice nails don’t ya’ think?!

I had a FABULOUS Mother’s Day! I was kind of upset because DH managed to plan a trip where he is gone today which meant no pampering for me… So instead of staying home and wallowing I decided to take the girlies on an adventure!! We drove 2 hours (okay, any driving over 45 minutes counts as an adventure when kids are involved) to the Oregon Zoo. Woohoo! We squeeled into the parking lot and grabbed almost the last available parking space, big sigh from me on this one! We saw all the “usual” animals and then they have this lorikeet cage where you can go in and feed the birds which of course everyone thought was great. On the ride home we stopped at Chili’s where I got my BBQ Ranch Bacon Cheeseburger with three soda refills… ahhhhhh… What a day!! Hope all you Mom’s out there had a great day too!!
