This drawing certainly caught my eye. It is right out of a tabloid… a princess asking “Do I have to go to jail?” I had to get the whole story… Apparently this girl set fire to some houses when she made homemade fireworks on her 16th birthday and that is why she is asking if she should go to jail. Her crown reads 16 then a heart… because she loves being 16. I asked if the worm is telling her to go to jail and my 6 year old said “no” she didn’t really know who was saying yes… My youngest is getting the chance to draw with a permanent sharpie marker (I know… will I regret this?) and it has her drawing non-stop these days. It is amazing how a once forbidden tool can spark new interest.

Yep… I went again, this time with friends. Who can turn down time with great friends and exersize so I can eat more at dinner?! It is also in the 90’s today which is making it a little hard for me to jump into my shop and sit next to my kiln, but I might… you never know. Hope you are having a great Friday.

Mt. Pisgah Arboretum

So I walked a trail at Mt. Pisgah today and I saw an iris which gave me an idea for some beads… I loved those lines on the petal… we’ll see how it works.

Here is another multi-strand bracelet using my smallbeads. I am really addicted to the smallbeads these days, I think it is because working with them is more like working with pure color… something that I love to do!

New beads are up a little early today… my mom is here so I just went ahead and opened the store as soon as I finished listing the new sets… We’ve got to get busy having fun so I can’t hang around until 11:30.

I just added a few new sets to my store. I’m still just having lots of fun playing with colors. I really love the set with the white flowers and it sort of matches a focal that I listed over on ebay. Actually I have one, two, and three auctions over on ebay this week… I just felt like mixing it up a bit. Anyhoo… I’m off to get one of my girlies and then some errands, enjoy your afternoon!
