I’ve got new goodies coming up at 11:30a.m. my time. Stay tuned…

I love Big Bang Theory, it makes me laugh… so a friend told me about a site called Sheldon Shirts so I was looking at it this morning and then I clicked over to Zazzle where I laughed at a few shirts and finally DH says click on Think Geek, they have shirts… where of course we found the Electronic Drum Kit shirt and the above video which made me laugh out loud.

I now have a village… Yes, I’ve spent too much time playing my game this weekend. I did spend a little time painting. You can see my efforts here. It has been forever since I have painted so I’m just getting back in the swing of things… Anyway, I hope that you had a great weekend. Sigh… time just flies when you are having lots of family fun.

Have you heard of the game Spore? I kept seeing ads for it in the Sunday paper and so I thought I’d better research it. I asked DH. (There is my research, remember… he writes games.) He said people at his work thought that it was fun and that was all I needed to hear… Now we have it and we are addicted. Okay, mostly my 9 year old is and I have to keep up with her right?! It is rather sad when we are playing and I say that I need some skill and she says mom, just do this. Ohhh… nothing makes you feel older than when your kids start catchin’ on quicker than you… sigh… Anyway, we are making lots of creatures and it is sucking up way too much of our time right now. All in the name of family fun right?!

Psst… Is it bad that I think maybe I could play for just a bit this morning while my girls are in camp? (No school today.) Instead of making beads? YES! Off to melt glass… stay away from the highly addictive computer game!

I found this photo when I went to visit my mom this summer. I was horrible at basketball but since the driver’s ed teacher was the coach, and I was tall… apparently I was meant to at least “attempt” to play. The team was always very supportive of me as I was sent in to play in the last 2 minutes of the game when we were up by 20… and still… I only scored once.

Vicki shared this fabulous bracelet which uses a few of my beads… I love how she mixed in the copper with the stamps… oh so cool! Thanks Vicki for sharing.
