Making jewelry.
December 4th, 2008

I’m working on goodies for our jewelry show on Sunday… I also plan to have some jewelry items in the Mart on Tuesday next week, in case you won’t have time to whip up your own bead creations. Where does the time go?!

YOJ - Hammered Necklace
July 21st, 2008

I made this necklace and it is really comfortable to wear! I had such a great time hammering the bar which the pendant drops from… I think I might be a little addicted to hammering silver now.
I’m cleaning a big ol’ pile of beads for tomorrow so check back if you have a minute!
YOJ - Boro & Crystal Pendant

Oh I think I might be addicted to these huge crystals! They are soooo sparkly.

Macro madness continues…

So I just found this necklace in my jewelry box… I didn’t find any photos of it so I thought I’d share it as a bit of a blast from the past. It is quite comfy to wear and I really think I need to use netting in more of my pieces!
YOJ - Green squares and pearls.

I’m on a roll… here is another necklace that I finished. This was actually a set that I enhanced outside of the kiln. I have been playing around with the Porcelaine 150 paints and I have to say that they seem rather durable. I made this set and it was a little too “blah” for my taste so I spiffed it up with the paints and now I like the beads and I think that they are a nice compliment for the leaves in this design… anyway, just a fun piece to wear with my new sneakers…

Change of plans…
October 19th, 2007
I’ve been up since 4a.m. with my little one who has an upset stomach.
The dude and I were heading off to Portland for a little time off which thankfully we were able to reschedule for next weekend. Hopefully everyone will be healthy then.
I thought I’d share the necklace that I finished last week. I’m getting back into the wire wrapping. Click any of the photos for a larger image. DH also fixed my oxygen generator! Apparently having a hobby of taking things apart does come in handy!
