We are driving to the airport. Time to return to reality.

Sigh… today was rainy so we didn’t get to soak up the last bit of sun before we head home. Too bad we can’t be on permanent vacation!

This was a first… we swam with turtles while on this trip but we never just wandered to the beach and found one hanging in the sun.

I found a few whales! I also found the setting on my camera where I just hold the shutter button down and it takes picture after picture so I got the play by play of each whale swimming up and then down. Yes… I know, I’m a little outa’ control but what can I say? I get so excited when I see them.

Here I am hanging out with my camera looking for whales. I think I got a couple of good pics, they come in so close… it really is amazing!

Today we went into Lahaina to browse some of the shops. Of course it was warm so we had to get some ice cream and rest in the shade by the huge banyon tree.

I really want a great photo of a whale tail in the water… Whales are everywhere, it is amazing! We have never come this late in the year and I can’t believe how many are splashing about. I just need one good photo! Sigh… The troubles of paradise.
