Slackin' around here…

So the kids are out of school on Thursday and Friday this week, and yesterday we went and rented Guitar Hero 3… needless to say I may be doing well as a “rock star” in my living room, but not so much as a beadmaker… ha! Today I of course have more guitar playing on tap, the gem faire, and teacher conferences for both my kids… hopefully it will be all good news. :D I’ll be back if I find any treasures at the gem faire. Enjoy your Friday!!

Shhh… don't tell anyone!

My girls got a tamagotchi so I had to get one too! :D What can I say, apparently I am totally a gadget junkie… But we are all having fun together, right?! Heehee…

Martha Moment

Okay, it may not be up to Martha’s standards, but it certainly was great fun for my kids! My oldest is SOO addicted to Viva Pinata and she has started drawing all the characters. (Here is her latest drawing of a dragonache… yes I’m a little bit of a proud mom that she likes drawing.) Anyway, I finally remember that you can buy stuff to run through your printer to make pictures into a t-shirt transfer and ta-dah! Viva Pinata t-shirt! It is always a good day when crafts have a happy ending, ’cause I can tell ya’ they don’t always… but happily everyone had fun on this project! Woohoo! Okay, I better go take some photos so I can give ya’ sneak peek of all the goodies that I have for tomorrow! :D

Car time.

One takes piano, and then the other… so we are forced to amuse ourselves in the car. Really, it isn’t so bad except the lessons start at 3pm which I think must be the hardest part of the day for me (especially when my youngest woke me up at 2:30 last night… sigh…) I hope my girls still like piano when they are older. My theory on getting them to take it while they are young is first, they will, and second, their brains are like little sponges, so in an effort to have something other than TV in there, they take piano. Anyway, today, thank goodness for the little drawing program on the DS. :D

Hey, did you see, I’m plugging away on the store. You can now see the items that sold out, in case you didn’t stop by early yesterday. I’ll have more next week. Enjoy your evening!!

Animal Crossing… again!

Of course life here gets SUPER busy and what do I do? Start playing Animal Crossing on my DS again. I tell ya’, it is a mom kinda game. I have this little town to nurture and take care of and I have to check in every day… What can I say, I find it amusing. :D Not to mention something easy I can do while waiting at soccer practice… heehee…
