I just got my new Bead & Button and I’m on page 41. Woohoo! Nothing like being early! I thought it wouldn’t come out for at least another week. Anyway, I figure I better add a few goodies to my store, just in case someone comes here looking for beads!

Clearly, we have my little pony mania at my house. I have really been enjoying time with the girlies before school gets into gear again. I can’t believe that summer is almost done! Where did it go?! Sigh… Have no fear, beads will reappear. Look, I even committed to a date! I have lots of beads about, I just can’t seem to get back into my routine. I have however, almost organized all my family photos! Woohoo! Clearly I just needed a little break from listing. Anyway, hope your week is going well!

Well I did it! I participated in the FlameOff and it was actually fun! I was a wee bit nervous of course, which made my dots difficult to make since my hand was shaking, but other wise it was fine. I got my Psyclone oxy machine and I LOVE IT! It fuels the O2 for my torch perfectly. Woohoo! No more tanks!! It was also fun shopping at the vendor booths. Every year they seem to get a few more vendors which is great. Anyway, below are a few pics from the event. I don’t really know any of the other glass artists in town but there were certainly some talented ones! It should be interesting to see it all cooled down tomorrow.

Isn’t that what summer is all about?! My oldest is in detective/games camp this week and it have been very amusing when she comes home and is SO SHOCKED that they had the same games when I was a kid OH SO LONG ago. But it has been fun watching her enjoy the games. She often will play Monopoly by herself and be so happy she won! HA! (It was our solution after her sister, who is really too young to play, kept quitting after 2 minutes. ) Anyway, hope you have a great Friday!!

The Eugene Glass School is having their annual FlameOff this weekend so if you are out and about you might want to stop by. I don’t think I’ll be there until Saturday… I *hope* I’ll be getting my new oxy machine out there though… they told me they were bringing it so keep your fingers crossed!!

It was a great day filled with friends and family.

My youngest turns five today! We are off to experience the “slingshot” again… It is sure to be lots of fun!! Had to share a little baby pic nostalgia.

Here is how I told Jenna Elfman to wear my jewelry… layer a few strands of necklaces using some of my smaller beads with a large pendant and you are set! I’ll have pendants and smaller beads soon! Don’t want to hassle with making the necklaces yourself?… Stay tuned. (Okay, Jenna isn’t really my friend, but they look good on her don’t you think?!
